Onil Stove

In Santiago la Laguna, Lake Atitlan, Solola, contact Acum: (502) 5054-5986. He delivers and installs the Onil stoves. He works with the NGO that finds donors in the states who help the Mayan families purchase the stoves, who pay half the cost.

Hi, i am delighted to have found your blog. I have visited Solala for 3 years now as a member of the Cascade Medical HELPS team. I love that beautiful area. My husband and daughter build ONIL stoves I work in the kitchen.

Dear Carole, I am delighted that you left a comment on my blog, AND that you help out in Solola! I am also thrilled to find that there is another smaller, portable Onil stove that only costs $50.00 and is being manufactured outside of Antigua. Do you know anything about this one?

I live in North Carolina when I'm not in Panajachel, and am going back to Guatemala for the month of June. Email me anytime and hope we can get together at Lake Atitlan soon! Yours, CatherineTodd2@gmail.com
